In its second year, WAX 2025 brings together the FOUR founding brands Cozmo, Tamart, Minimalux and LightMass^, with an expanded line-up of guests from contemporary design and culture, including Pearson Lloyd, Studiomama, Point Two Five, Liberty, music label Ascension oN Wax AND MORE, MAKING IT a must-visit destination for the London Design Festival.
This year’s programme at the WAX Building highlights the interplay and fluid connections between the four brands:
Cozmo is spread over two floors, presenting the Cozmo collection by Raw Edges in their ground floor showroom and ‘Comfort Lab’ by Pearson Lloyd in the Cozmo Studio on the second floor, unveiling the new ‘Hug’ Sofa.
Tamart transforms the first floor into the tt Lounge Bar - a vibrant social space featuring three zones INCLUDING hotel, bar and penthouse; all celebratING the art of lounging. Inspired by clubs of yesteryear for comfort, conversation and connection It ALSO MARKS the debut of the Highgate Bar Stools and Liberty upholstered Clore Lounge Chairs.
Minimalux marks its 15 year journey with -ORIGIN, an exhibition defining the essence of the brand to the present day. Shown on the seconD floor, FEATURING the release of new lighting design ‘NIL’, additional models to the Rota FAMILY AND items from the archive.
LightMass^ by Raw Edges immerses visitors in a sculptural installation of new integrated LED lighting on the lower ground floor.
Guest jewellery brand Point Two Five (0.25) activates the WAX stairwell with ‘Step by Step’, a site-specific installation featuring new pieces by Studiomama.

the new lighting brand by Raw-Edges Design Studio, debuted at London Design Festival 2024 and HAS already won major awards INCLUDING the British Design Guild Mark and the EDIDA 2025 for Best Lighting. Sculptural yet minimal, each piece uses a single material to reduce waste. A new integrated LED collection will launch at LDF 2025.

COMFORT LAB BY PEARSON LLOYD (2)
Since 2022, Cozmo has democratised design by producing high-quality furniture tailored for modern, flexible living and compact homes. Cozmo is known for its ongoing collaboration with London studio, Raw Edges and an evolving collection which includes sofas, beds and accessories, showcased during LDF on the newly curated ground floor of the Wax Building, Shoreditch. For London Design Festival 2025, Cozmo unveils a new collaboration with award-winning British design studio Pearson Lloyd. Hug is a brand-new, high-back modular sofa system developed through full scale experimentation with tactility, comfort, posture, and style. Pearson Lloyd is the second design studio to join Cozmo, who now are spread over two floors of Wax.

Tamart LOUNGE BAR
Welcome to the Tamart Lounge Bar – a social space where hospitality and home come to life. With three distinct zones, each area represents a different facet of lounging from hotel and bar to penthouse living. Inspired by the lounge bars and clubs of yesteryear, these were destinations for comfort and relaxation, for conversation and connection, FOR pleasure and leisure.
At the centre of the newly configured space is the cocktail bar, originally designed by Tamar de Shalit in 1964–66 for a private members club AND reimagined for the Festival. Tamart patrons are invited to perch on the new Highgate High Barstools which are making their debut in September. The bar places guests right at the heart of the actioN - The Highgate barstools aren’t just seating, they’re a front-row invitation to the full cocktail experience.

2010: from Latin minimus ‘least’ and lux ‘light’ or luxus ‘abundance’ [ minima-lux ]
Minimalux takes us back to the origin of its name, defining the essence of the brands designs from its foundation 15 years ago to the present. Themed around an imagined dictionary definition IS A specially curated selection of products from THE MINIMALUX collection, all united by a simple singular philosophy that has guided the brands evolution from its beginning in 2010 and continues to this day. The exhibition features items from the archive, fresh additions to the ROTA family and new lighting range ‘NIL’.

STEP BY STEP
Design-led jewellery brand, Point Two Five (0.25) presents Step by Step – a site-specific exhibition that gradually reveals itself as visitors ascend the stairwell of WAX 2025. As visitors climb the stairwell, they move through a curated sequence, encountering works piece by piece, step by step. The journey begins with 0.25’s core collection, featuring jewellery by Theodora Alfredsdottir, Sebastian Bergne, Daniel Eatock, Jamie Wolfond, and Studio 0.25.
Playfully guiding the way are a series of precious metal, sculptural characters by London-based design duo, Studiomama. These characterful forms march upwards through the SPACE, encouraging visitors step by step toward the top flight. At the summit, Studiomama presents a new jewellery series created especially for this exhibition. Each piece is presented within a modular display system designed by Shoreditch-based multidisciplinary studio, Brown Office.

The Wax Building is London’s latest epicentre and permanent home for independent British design brands – cozmo, TAMART, Minimalux and LightMass^. Nestled in the heart of Shoreditch at 4 Garden Walk and set over four floors, this former Victorian factory for waxing and shellacking furniture has been transformed into a vibrant space for creativity and innovation all year round. Launched in September 2024, the Wax Building has become a must-visit destination on the Shoreditch Design Triangle map.
VISUAL IDENTITY AND PRESENCE BY
Design Studio Field Day developed the WAX visual identity to create a collaborative space for partners to engage in creative exchange. Founded in 2018 by Idan Am-Shalem and Zohar Koren, the studio specialises in creating visual identities and graphic designs that blend tradition with innovation. Am-Shalem and Koren approach their work with a balance of professional responsibility and cultural sensitivity, striving to bridge the gap between art and commerce. In addition to their studio work, they teach at academic institutions, fostering the next generation of designers with an emphasis on critical thinking and cultural awareness.
